W. B. Yeats ( 1865 - 1936 ).
Irish poet and playwright . He helped to found the Rhymers' Club , the
Irish Literary Society of Dublin , Abbey theatre and Ireland's national
theatre. A Senator of the Irish Free State . His works include Crossways ( 1880
), The Rose ( 1893 ) , The Wind Among The Reeds ( 1899 ), In the Seven
Woods ( 1904 ) , The Green Helmet ( 1910 ) , Responsibilities ( 1914 ) ,
The Wild Swans at Cool ( 1919 ) , The Tower ( 1928 ) , Last Poems (
1936-1939 ) among poetry and critical works with prose . He received
Noble prize for Literature ( 1923 ). |
